Hansoku-make

What is Hansoku-make?

In Judo, a contestant will draw a “Hansoku-make” (Defeat by grave infringement or accumulated light penalties) for committing a very serious Forbidden items, or when committing another rules violation after having already drawn a Keikoku (Warning). A Hansoku-make (Defeat by grave infringement or accumulated light penalties) is equivalent to an opponent’s Ippon gachi (Win by ippon).

This is the most serious penalty, disqualification
